Peter is one of the most experienced PR and Media specialists in the UK. He spent twenty-five years as a senior national and international journalist, including a decade on The Times, and twenty years heading PR agencies. He now focuses on advising major public and private sector organisations and handling crisis communications around sensitive issues. As a journalist, reported extensively from overseas, including the USA, India, the Middle East, the Falklands, Ireland and most major European countries. Travelled with Pope John Paul on two historic pilgrimages, covered the terrorist campaigns in Ireland, reported on the Lockerbie bombing, the Hillsborough Disaster, the year long Miners Strike and many other major issues. Met and interviewed a diverse range of personalities, including Presidents, Prime Ministers and Princes, had dinner with John Wayne, tea in an Irish castle with Fred Astaire and backstage with the Rolling Stones. In PR, has advised sponsors of major events, including the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, the inaugural Round the World Yacht Race as well as major organisations in the public and private sectors on media relations, reputation management and business development strategies.

Chris is an Operational Resilience and Business Continuity specialist with 11 years of experience within the financial sector. Most recently Chris has been heavily involved in implementing Operational Resilience programmes across banking and insurance firms with a focus on impact tolerances and scenario testing.
He is experienced in integrating resilience risk management within existing enterprise risk management frameworks including training and support of first-line teams.
